Nikki established Holloway Literary in 2011. After 11 years of selling literary and TV & film rights as an agent, Nikki pivoted to managing a micro list of screenwriters, optioning a handful of screenplays and book-based IP.
After optioning her first book in 2022 to Muse Entertainment, her first project as a producer was Hallmark’s Haunted Harmony Mystery series. Based on Alexia Gordon’s Gethsemane Brown Mystery series, the first movie in the series aired in October 2023. The next three movies in the series are currently in development.
Nikki has since optioned literary management client, Jess Mastorakos’ The San Diego Marines (and related series) to a Timeless Pictures for TV series adaptation.
What She’s working On
Nikki has several projects in development, both screenplays and book IP that span several genres, including but not limited to US and UK-based cozy mysteries, adult and YA fantasy, romcoms, southern gothic, action and espionage.

Being a Southerner born and bred, Nikki is especially interested in cozy world building, telling Southern stories and uplifting racially and culturally diverse voices in fresh ways.
Screenplay Contests
Nikki also judges screenplay competitions. Most recently she participated in Stage 32 and Coverfly’s Family Screenplay competitions.
